WdB has developed a comprehensive range of a-coustical attenuating ducting for air intake purpo-ses. The fact that these porous sound attenuating ducts absorb a considerable amount of sound, they can avoid the use of many specialized, and costly “Sound boxes” used for this purpose on air intake housings. This can represent a considerable savin-gs for the OEM. The construction technology of these ducts uses porous and perforated materials for opti-mized sound attenuation. The abatement affects the complete range of frequencies thus offering a solu-tion to costly, and space restricting sound boxes. Ducting is flexible, made out of self-extinguishing materials and offer strong water resistance.
